Spartan Relief Supplies Limited based in Nairobi, Kenya, was established in 1992 (becoming a Limited Liability Company in 2006) and is a leader in relief supplies, general trade and import/export industry. It responds to the need for specialized, high caliber services customized to suit both individual and corporate needs in our dynamic and ever-growing modern economy. Together with our team of experienced personnel, our aim is to remain the leading relief/emergency aid supplier in the region.

To achieve this, a strong focus has been placed on the quality of service provided to our customers. What we do

Through our many years of experience, and extensive global network of suppliers, we are able to supply a wide variety of items that may be required by our customers. Our key areas of focus are:

  • Global humanitarian aid supplies
  • General trade
  • Export / import

We specialize in preparing customized kits for our clients allowing our clients to focus on distribution of the supplies at their preferred location.

We also have our own bonded warehouses in Nairobi, Kenya where we are able to store goods/stocks for our customers ready for export swiftly within the region.

We specialize in delivering supplies to all the countries in East and Southern Africa including Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Ethiopia, Eritrea, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, Sudan, Somalia, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe. We are also able to deliver supplies to other locations worldwide depending on our client needs.

a. Governance

As a company supplying to the humanitarian sector, we place strong emphasis on governance through internal policies and standard operating procedures. Our aim is to create an equitable organization, to offer jobs with dignity and ensure human and workplace rights are respected at all times within the requirements of the local government regulations/legislation within which we operate.

Every new staff member who joins our team is introduced to our code of conduct and employee handbook, the latter which contains our policies and procedures for grievance, health and safety, learning and development, among other subjects.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) shapes our approach to business. We leverage a variety of resources in pursuit of economically, environmentally and socially sustainable operations.

As a relief supplier, we believe that contributing to a sustainable humanitarian supply chain is a way of honoring our purpose. Our objective in CSR is to help alleviate poverty and improve food security in the communities within which we operate. We regularly supply food staples and other goods to orphanages and not-for-profit charities whose values align with ours and operate in our communities.
