If supplied with handle: Smooth surface: no chips, rough surfaces, holes or knots. Dry, strong flexible wood. Handle adjusted to head in order to protrude through the other side of the eye, where it is secured with a metal nail.
The other end of the handle is made in a Y-shape with same quality of wood. The branches of the Y handle in one piece only, of good quality iron securely fitted to the handle.
