Material
We supply high-quality dam liners made from reinforced polythene to prevent water loss through seepage into the soil.
We can also supply liners in geosynthetic and geomembrane fabrics to construct long-lasting dam liners that are high resistance to abrasion or puncturing and high UV resistance. Geomembrane is a low permeability synthetic membrane liner or barrier used with any earth-related material such as water or gas migration, in human-made dam projects. Geomembranes are Polyolefin based materials, produced with high quality raw materials of HDPE, LLDPE, VLDPE and PP.
Thickness
Dam Liner thickness can be determined by the amount of water to be stored. The more the amount of water then a thicker liner is recommended. The surface of the dam also determines the thickness of the dam liner. Rough surfaces require a thicker dam liner than a smooth surface. Dam Liners are available in 0.5mm, 0.8mm, and 1mm thickness and are custom made as per customer’s requirements.
